The 5th annual “Dorothy Hamill Women Fore Women” golf tournament is scheduled for Monday, June 4, 2012, at The Country Club of Waterbury.

Proceeds will go directly to the Breast Screening Fund at Saint Mary’s Hospital Foundation, which provides free mammograms and other breast screenings to women in our area without insurance who might not otherwise have access to them. Since the fund’s inception, $90,000 has been raised and last year alone, over 200 breast screening procedures were provided to women in our area. It is important to note that the fund extends to patients of all physician groups throughout our community.  

In its four years, the “Dorothy Hamill Women fore Women” golf tournament has contributed $90,000 to the Breast Screening Fund. We hope that you will join us.  As a golfer, you will have a wonderful day knowing you are making a difference in someone’s life.

We expect to have a full tournament, bringing the projected number of women golfers to 200, plus an additional 100 attending the evening reception, which will give your company exposure to a very special group.
