Carrie has served in the non-profit sector as a fundraiser, manager and director since graduating from Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, Florida, in 1995. With a passion for making a difference and contributing to a positive change in the lives of others, Carrie sought out employment opportunities in non-profit and began her career with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Since then, she spent 14 years with the March of Dimes Foundation, and worked as a major gifts officer for two non-profit Hospitals, as well as managing a fundraising team for the American Heart Association in Southern New England. In 2015, Carrie joined the Saint Mary’s Hospital Foundation as their Executive Director, part of Trinity Health Of New England. In 2018, she accepted additional responsibilities of leading the fundraising efforts for Mercy Medical Center in Springfield, a ‘sister’ hospital within the Trinity Health Of New England region. At Saint Mary’s and Mercy, Carrie is excited to work every day to expand the fundraising capacity, which allows both hospitals to continue to support their lifesaving work that impacts the lives of so many individuals throughout greater Waterbury and Western Massachusetts.

In addition to her career with Trinity Health Of New England, Carrie recently completed her Master’s in Science in Nonprofit Management and Philanthropy at Bay Path University in Longmeadow, MA and is a member of the Nu Lambda Mu International Honor Society. She has an extensive volunteer background as well, currently serving as Board President of The Foundation of Possibilities, a non-profit organization that she founded in 2013. She previously served on the boards of Dress for Success and Habitat for Humanity, both in Springfield, MA, and she is an active fundraiser and donor for several organizations that impact her heart, values, and beliefs.
