Allison Blancato is a Waterbury native and the Volunteer Coordinator for Saint Mary’s Hospital. She manages and coordinates all aspects of volunteering at the Hospital including on-boarding and management of volunteer daily needs. She also does Foundation work and is spearheading the PINKOUT event for Breast Cancer in October.
Allison comes to the Saint Mary’s Foundation with a Bachelor’s Degree in History from the University of Connecticut. She spent 8 years at the State Capitol in various positions from a Legislative Aide, Committee Clerk, and lastly a Policy Analyst for Speaker Brendan Sharkey.
Before joining Saint Mary’s Foundation in July of 2017, she spent 3 years at the Saint Francis Foundation as a Development Associate managing their signature events, including but not limited to, the MIRACLES Gala and The Curtis D. Robinson Swing Golf and Tennis Outing.
Allison is thrilled to be back home in Waterbury, and for the opportunity to build up the community that she loves. She also enjoys spending her free time with her friends, family, and being an auntie to her 3 baby nephews.
